STIHL HS45 Hedge 24" Trimmer The HS45 hedge trimmer is designed for residential use, but it comes with plenty of the professional-level perks for which Stihl is known. Unlike some consumer hedge trimmers, the HS45 is lightweight but still has a heavy-duty, powerful feel, and its double-sided, reciprocating hardened blades chew through good-sized branches. The start and stop controls are easy to reach and comfortable to operate, and the anti-vibration system lets the user tackle bigger jobs without worrying about fatigue. Safety features are nicely done, too. The hand guard provides plenty of protection, and the front handle is large enough to give the user a high level of control and maneuverability.
